This content may be questionable as far as how actually IDM it is but check out celluloid at www.neuromancer.org. Seems Chris Cunningham is going to direct the feature version of the Gibson classic. I've also heard various rumors about artists that could be on the soundtrack (most notably those he has worked with before, AFX & Ae). There have been a few discussions on www.aint-it-cool-news.com and www.slashdot.org if anyone wants to hear what the masses think of a generally unknown (to them) director. Seems lots of them have problems with the fact that he happens to have only directed music videos before. Most of them have probably never seen any of the videos that he has made, because I read at least one comparison to Michael Bay (he used to do music vids right?). Anyhow, it definitely looks like an interesting project. If anyone has any more concrete knowledge of the possibility of soundtrack people (although I doubt anything is actually concrete at this stage) I for one would like to hear about it.
