yesterday i succumbed to buying the funkstorung 2*12" 'additional productions' & the thing is so catchy it hurts. i'm addicted. i didn't think i could _still_ be grabbed by a pop (be it wicked art-pop with dsp'd breaks) record. & then i finally found alternative frequencies 3 & i'm getting nuts about worm interface. these guys have so much taste it's scary. speaking of them, anybody has comments on the gimmik record, 'load error'? also i bought an institut fuer motorikeingkerchdtkajf (or however it's spelled) 12" which is clanky minimal beat tapestries, & a 12" on 'chair records' which seems to be a canadian label but i've never heard about them (anybody?). anyhow, this is another interesting take on the minimal tip. i also got the speedy j 'ieee mitten menu' single -- tracks 1 & 3 are in the 'ni go snix' vein (which is the one speedy j record i really like) but track 2 is disappointing. fortunately it was used & cheap. did i fill this paragraph with enough stuff yet? i think so. this is going to be a bitch to reply to. btw in my last message i wrote 'horring' instead of 'horrible' or 'horrid' (whatever i had in mind), that's because i'm not really awake yet. have a good day. -- david
