SAM & VALLEY
A duo from Tokyo, whose debut "My Favourite Chic" was a small jewel
for Rephlex upon it release in 1997. Shining like a ring in a chewing gum
vending machine. "Unsuitable Japanese" is the follow up. Sweet children
melodies about cows, fish and other lifeforms, such as watches. Johnahan
Richmann meets Pizzicato 5, or better still Cornelius. Sam & Valley describe
their music as "Unsuitable Rock".
