WHAT?! i just emailed the guy off list a couple of hours ago and told him
it was essential- and it is in my opinion- 
to be honest, i didn't like it when it came out and sold it. 
but later, i found myself constantly listening to that tape- 

...many people take jabs at b12's programming, saying it's 'lame' and that 
that they should learn how to program a drum beat- but that's exactly
what attracts me to their sound... its quirky, light, subtle, idosyncratic...
and groovy. 

b12 are not about copying the detroit sound (which i'm sure they could do
without a problem), but about expanding upon it...
