There was a student at Michigan State U. or U. Michigan a few weeks ago
with some excerpts of "Ambiant Otaku" in Real Audio format on a webpage.

If FAX was going to reissue "Ambiant Otaku," they would have done so by
now. It looks like the next best chance for it to become available again
will be sometime in 1999 or later, since FAX has rights to "Ambiant
Otaku" for five years. At that point, the album's rights will revert
to Tetsu Inoue. He could re-release it on a label like Asphodel or
on his own private label or even on FAX again. A nice time for FAX to
have reissued "Ambiant Otaku" would have been this past summer during
their unprecedented lull.

One of the album's better cuts "Holy Dance" is on "The Ambient Cookbook"
4-CD set as well as on one of the two "FAX Compilation" 2-CD anthologies
from Instinct. But that still leaves four other cuts "Karmic Light,"
"Low Of Vibration," "Ambiant Otaku," and "Magnetic Field" unavailable
until a reissue of the full album. The FAX albums "Shades Of Orion 1"
and "I.F. 1" are also good candidates for Ambient World reissues.
