Heh, our own lexaunculpt had heard and really liked the remix of "Over The Ocean" and nearly shit his pants when I played him the original. It's no where near idm or anything electronic, and is thus the perfect antidote when you've been listening to too much of it. Low is minimal mormon drone rock. It's a 3 peice act, with a singer/guitarist, a bass player, and a female singer/drummer (although she only brings a cymbal, a snare and a kick drum, and mainly uses a brush). It's very slow and moody, and very well done. They have 3 albums and and two EP's on Vernon Yayd/Caroline, and an album on kranky. I prefer thier more structured stuff on vernon yard/caroline, thier kranky release is more in the vein of flying saucer attack. My favorite release is thier first one, "I could Live in hope", produced by Kramer. Runner up to that would be thier third full album, "The Curtain Hits The Cast." I love all of thier material, and would strongly suggest seeing them perform live. They also have a mail order live album that's impossible to find but well worth the effort. -Daniel xxxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx ============================================================================== Peach Space Disco For Fish Tacos PO Box 1902 8-10pm Wednesdays, KUCI 88.9fm Huntington Beach, CA 92647 www.peachfuzz.net/space www.peachfuzz.net ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sterile: Orange County's Intelligent Electronic Monthly www.peachfuzz.net/sterile ============================================================================== "A lot of people just talk out of their ass, I happen to fall under that category" -Dana Watanabe
