I agree that Urmur Bile is crappy and totally unfocussed. As I think I've said before, it just doesn't work for me, especially on a drum and bass level where the whole point is to make the breaks groove and the sound mesh together as a whole. Mike Ps attempts at drum and bass just sound a kid bashing tins, weak and sterile. It totally put me off buying Lunatic Harness, so I guess putting out dross could have some effect on the sales of the next record. At first I was interested that Mike was doing something other than trying to recreate tunes from Tango N Vectif 583 times under different names with pretty dire results which didn't hit the mark. I was at mults site checking the Mu-Ziq interviews and reading about Mike talking about his label and how he wanted the quality threshold to be very high and wouldn't take any below par releases off any artists, previously signed or not.
