This first very smooth sampler contains tracks from Chateau Flight, Domu, Nubian Mindz and Steffanie Attias. Personal favorite by far is Domu's Long Way Up, in beats reminding of Victor's classic Messages, but it's much more than than. Soul, warmth, one bunch of beauty. One of the best tracks he ever did. Nubian Mindz takes some Robert Owens' samples takes it back too basic, a raw, direct track. Chateau Flight takes it more regular, while Attias goes with a more jazzy edge. A second sampler should see daylight soon, and we got another very fine, classy label. Cool. Theo Parrish - Light down low - 12" - Sound Signature - ss011 A new twelve inch on Theo's never dissapointing Sound Signature label. Lights down low is the track and comes in two deep versions. The full mix comes a live jammin' version with Theo jummin' behind the mic. Fun! The this one mix, goes darker and deeper. But both two got the smooth ingredients of Detroit's finest downtempo house.
