i know there's been some discussion of this in the past few days, but i just received my copy and wanted to add my $.02. really, quite a fabulous disc. dark and full and brooding. wonderfully crisp percussion, informed by electro but transcending genre. by far some of the best stuff i've heard from worm interface. my *only* gripe is the track titles: "plic-plex," "anglecusp," "sphang," "gamTeV," "Clonnig," "fhalen"--it's that damn AI-speak, autechre-redux thing. i swear, the strongest limitations of any genre seem encapsulated in its track titles. i used to marvel at how straightedge hardcore managed to create a fucking template for band names. compound words were big: slapshot, breakdown, halfman, etc. and the new, post-emo generation seems to get even sillier, while remaining within a strangely regimented framework: texas is the reason, today is the day, joan of arc, and a bunch of other prepositionally-inclined phrases... i'm sure there's a dissertation in here somewhere. but i digress. phil
