Pietro. >> VOLUME TRANSMISSION Worm Interface Soundtrack Series WI020 (cd) Worm Interface release the first in 'the soundtrack series'. The House of Worm once again field an international team including Swedish synth duo PLOD, AIRAT from Russia, the anonymous REMOTE, UK software mole ASTRAL ENGINEERING, KOICHI from Japan, and SANDSPIDER - straight outta Beckenham. A unique selection of minimalism, lush soundscapes, dreamy ambience and downtempo electro make up this collection of reflective music. PLOD will soon release their long-awaited debut album - 'Pillow Talk' (WI021), KOICHI is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on his first album (which you may have heard a taster of if you were lucky enough to get a copy of the 'Live Gorgeous Energy' LP -WISE03- ). ASTRAL ENGINEERING's 'Chronoglide' (WI001) has become known as a chillout classic and was Worm Interface's first ever release. The AIRAT tracks are another example of the emergent Russian new wave of electronic and were selected from a unique set of field recordings made among the many tenements of Moscow. The REMOTE project is by somebody in the film industry who wishes to remain anonymous.
