A question that has been brought up with no answer whatsoever is, why is warp shutting down a small mp3 site with mostly obscure stuff, while the aphex site is running strong distributing every major aphex release in full? Mr. Eden has said all he will say about the subject (and I don't blame him), so allow me to take a guess. warp is in the UK, and the aphex site is in a completely different country ( *.sk = scandinavia?? ). It is pretty difficult to puruse legal action internationally, or so I've heard. The easiest thing for warp to do would be to inform the ISP that there is illegal things going on, and the ISP will shut it down. However, someone mentioned earlier that chch works at eurotel.sk, so I can imagine a conversation like this: Warp: Your site is bad. Shut it down or we will contact your ISP. chch: That's funny. I *am* my ISP. Go away. Then again, there's always the upstream provider to complain to, and then international legal stuff, but maybe warp just doens't care to go through all that. Sorry I had to drag this thread out even more.....the worst part is I'm a lurker. THE ABOVE IS ONLY MY HUMBLE OPINION AND HAS NO BASIS IN FACT. NO FLAMES, PLEASE. ______________________________________________________________________________ . . ..a n a g r a m a t c a t s d o t u c s c d o t e d u.. . . . . ..h y p e r t e x t t r a n s f e r p r o t o c o l.. . . ..u s e r s d o t c w n e t d o t c o m s l a s h a n a g r a m..
