You know, for the record Alex, both of us "mpeg d00dz" bought >>both<< of the Peel sessions releases, even though the Ae ones have been around for a couple years and we (along with everyone on this list) had those BoC ones. :) I did not buy the copy of "Rubber Johnny" that I spotted in the "rare Warp" section at a Bay Area record store. I figured that was the classiest way for me to extend a middle finger toward some "reasonable" people. You know what's good? APOLLO CHOCO REMIXED by Audio Active, which came out a long-ass time ago, but I'm finally seeing it in stores. One of the highlights (and it kills me to say this) is a truly astonishing ALEC EMPIRE remix, in which he out-Sherwoods Adrian Sherwood (and Phil Collins, former holder of the 'most rediculously distorted drum sound' title) with the most copiously overcooked drum sound I've ever heard. By the end of his remix it sounds like he's fired up a gas powered generator to get the overdrive up to "11" as Spinal Tap would say... it's brilliant. .Bil. IAMaCOPIER
