I know questions like this come up quite often, but has anyone got some recommends for stuff like the J Saul Kane compiled 'Beat Classic'? ie. (early) 80s hiphop from a primarily instrumental side of things, and generally crazy and adventurous. Oh yeah, and I have a dodgy old industrial sounding 12" by someone called Statik which has a J Saul Kane mix on it. ANyone know anything about this? It'd be from the late 80s, from memory.
