You know, I've corresponded off and on with Mark Kolmar over a variety of technical issues, but never really followed up on actually hearing his music. Today I pulled up http://www.xnet.com/~mkolmar/BurningRome/sounds/ from the idm home page link, and I'm frankly floored. The track Senseless (now playing) is an extra funky acid track that proves once and for all that acid still has some life in it, if you're willing to ditch the cliches and put some soul into it. Proof again that when it comes right down to it, the best music I hear ain't coming out on record labels.
