Hi Everyone! It's Monday again, and that means it's time for another exciting edition of 'These Technotic Times' Live on-line tonight! Woo-Hoo :-D It's also the first day of summer, so along with all the antics that go along with celebrating the soltice, I figured it'd be a great time to break out with some cerebral tunage. So, if you've ever wondered what was up with some of that 'IDM' (intelligent dance music) type stuff, come get a gander at it tonight -- I'm gonna be playing stuff in the experimental/spacey/techno-ish/out-there/interesting vein -- things be labels/people like Schematic, Fat Cat, Skam, Push Button Objects, Doctor Rockit, Autechre, Maus Und Stolle, and lots of other real neat-o schtuff for ya! Ok, here's the deal...The show time is 8pm-10pm ET - go to http://www.technotica.com for the link, it'll take you to a page at http://www.collegemusic.com that you'll click to start the stream and you can also join the chat if'n you'd like! It's sure be great if you could tune in! Last weeks Breaks/Funk/Electro show went super-well, Thanks to all who helped make it a vibey success! We'll be puting up that one in the archive for sure real soon! 'These Technotic Times' comes your way via RealAudio (5.0 and G2 compatible feed). We are supposed to be going to Microsoft streaming format very soon....please let me know if any of you have any experience with this format, re: the sound quality, ease of use, problems with, etc....we really want your input, and want o make the show as accessable and listenable as possible. So, join us, won't you? As we like to say=85you never know what you're going to hear! Thanks for listening :-) Hey, I'm still looking for some great mixes to showcase in July and August during my 'maternity leave'...do you (or someone you know) have some quality tunage you think is ready to rock the net? If it's a tape, it can be a 60 or 90 min one, but try to make the mix fit on one side with a nice intro and outro so I don't have to stop the mix and flip the tape (so it will end up being a 30 min or 45 min mix on the air), if it's a Cd, I'd prefer the mix to be no longer than 60 minutes..so send your high-quality tape or CD mix to: Technotic Times, Box 1383, Newtown Pa 18940 (-<) Linda Leigh/L3 & Restless Rob www.technotica.com
