Would this be the geezer from Moloko by any chance.< Yep, that's the one. And if I remember correctly, Rob Gordon (of Forgemasters, Black Knight, numerous other projects and with millions of production credits to his name) was the other co-producer. Prior to the House Arrest thing, Mark Brydon was bass player for a Sheffield industrial funk band called Chakk. At one time in the mid-eighties, they were touted as one of the definite Next Big Things out of the city (I seem to think they did some music for... ahem... Miami Vice at one point) - Designers Republic did some of their very earliest work for them. They got a massive advance from MCA, made an album that flopped big time, and spent the cash on founding FON studios in Sheff... which laid the groundwork from which Warp eventually grew.
