I bought "Millenium Myth" earlier this year and enjoy it. The combination o= f soaring analog synths, bleeps and percussion makes it sound like a 60's academic electronic record. I think they are trying to be Stockhausen and Cage for heads. There is a newer LP focused on DMT (guess) and a limited 7" or 10" called "Data Rape." I haven't heard The Koner Experiments but I think it is a departure from the regular sound. Check Atavistic at www.atavistic.com for info on recent releases. I believe Sympathy for the Record Industry has als= o put out a few E.A.R. records. >any recommendations on experimental audio research... >one informative listmember has provided me with a start, >but looking for more info now... > >i've picked up mesmerized and enjoyed it, but am looking for >material more in the vein of the korner experiment release... > >also, if anyone happens to want to part with a copy of the >koner experiment, would be appreciated... > > >xxxx@xxxxx.xxx >icq_12645306 >http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ >coming sooner than later: >sfwd0004 - pre-mil=B7len=B7ni=B7um soundscapes 12" > >our future has never been so frightening: >http://williamshatner.com/ > >
