There's RealAudio of Floating Point in one of the In The Mix shows onhttp://www.globalserve.net/~cognition and the new Monolake single (Tangent) is in the February 99 RA Top 20. I'll be doing the world premiere of the Monolake-- Interstate album on the Cognition Audioworks site soon. (Thought I solved computer problems I had, but new ones just cropped up. Damn). Textwise, there's a review of it up now in the February 99 Electronics Report. Simply put, though, Floating Point is more cool and glacial, while Monolake is the warmer companion. There's a in a rain forest type of vibe to parts of the Monolake album, whereas you get more of a crisp wind blowing over you type of vibe from the Floating Point stuff. Hope this helps. Andrew
