yes wear those earplugs! I get minimal something-sorta-like tinnitus from time to time...just a faint ringing, but it bugs the shit out of me. I used to be in a band, and picked up some earplugs to wear during gigs. I found them in the Musician's Friend catalog (or see www.musiciansfriend.com)--earWear ER-20 HiFi Earplugs, cat. number 9033, $15.99. These things are cool because they maintain a fairly flat frequence response, ie, things don't sound 'muffled'...they just cut down on the damaging hi freqs and hi volume. these are much more hi-tech than a foam plug in your ear...plus they give the added effect of mini-martian antennae. ;) just a recommendation, -jimg --xxxxx@xxxxxxxx.xxx --http://www.slackers.net/~skoop
