as far as i know there are cd-r copies on the idm trade market, so yes it's still in circulation. as for the musical content, it's quite good. the tracks are rougher than the gpr/warp stuff. a friend of mine best described it as a demo for the "bytes" tracks, which makes perfect sense since there is less fx and the beats are a little messier. in fact, some of the samples that were eventually used on "object orient" (from bytes) show up here and there. as someone pointed out, two tracks from the clear ep are from mbuki mvuki. so you can track that excellent record down (not as hard to find as some other clear records, since it was repressed 1-2 times) and decide if you want to hunt for m.m. now does anyone know of any north american online shops carrying the kushit album?... RJ >> ...has anyone ever seen this floating around as either MP3s, on a CDR, or both? I'm not asking to leech; I'm actually just curious at this point as to whether or not it's circulating at all, anywhere, in some form. The only oldschool Plaid I've ever heard were the tracks on _Bytes_, which I liked, but I've no idea if that bears any resemblance to _Mbuki Mvuki_...hell, I've never even managed to find a scan of the cover art. Also, if anyone happens to know anything about that _Booc_ EP that was supposed to come out... :P <<
