it didn't to me because i was checking out dj pierre, trax records and
detroit techno 5 years earlier

doesn't it?  DOES TO ME.   ralf and florian is completely innovative even
now and it's 25 years old, and as for the rest, well if only people were
making music that original today.

i didn't say it couldn't be, and i don't want to carry on putting down
orbital because they are really on a different tip for the reason i outlined
above, basically orbital do happy fluffy music, and that is half the reason
i don't get into it, the other half being their production techniques
