First, apologies for the tardiness in this reply. Next, the disclaimer : I am an unashamed fan of P5 and happen to like a lot of current styles underfoot, so perhaps I'm not the best person to answer this. Call me indiscriminate, but I tend to hold the gavel for a few before I trash most anything (notice I said *most*). Having said that... A lovely record which runs the panoply of styles as one might expect from the list of remixers. I'd say there is something for everybody here - and , for the most part, done well enough. You've got a slab of experimental sound, nicely edged D-n-B, a dash of trip hop, clever IDM-ish stuff and blatant pop. Some mixes run quite a distance from the J-Pop kitsch of P5, others maintain that stance and add some really nice touches (the 808 mix is on in the background and it's one of them). If you're secured in one *camp* of style, then what you won't like is the variety. If not, then you'll prolly like it throughout. I do, but then again, I'm predisposed. jeff -- dancing/about/architecture "...with wandering steps and slow..." ICQ 904008
