Last time I was in England, my friend took me to a diner in Ilford and I was surprised to see it on the menu. Of course I had to know what it was all about, so I ordered it -- not too much of a risk, considering it was only 75p. I remember some kind of hash-browned potatoes with four or five other fried vegetables in there as well, all very greasy and generally disgusting (but not quite as bad as Toad in the Hole <gulp>). I suppose this was already common knowledge to our UK list-members... .JohnBush.
