Beta Bodega won't be the first or the last to use aliases, though I see your point in other regards. The reason for surrounding the various Coalition members with fictitous storylines and so forth will be made more evident in the releases to come. The issues and situations addressed by the main theme of the ep's [such as the 2k . Panama Canal and invasion of '89] are real and will not to be taken lightly by various groups and individuals around the world. Therefore we took measures to ensure the identity of most it's members remain anynomous. However, Beta Bodega has no interest in speaking out against the commercial music industry, addressing so-called sellouts, glorifying the "ghetto experience" nor playing musical rebels that "keep it real". Beta Bodega's head, living in the some of the most deadly parts of Brooklyn and South America, has learned to go beyond the experience and not dwell on it and make it the premise for the entire label's storyline. Literature is taken from various documents, newspapers and official reports and researched carefully, not just personal ranting. Call Beta Bodega's head the "IDM Mad Mike" if you will but I tell you it's just not the case. In the strategies of guerilla warfare, we have set up smoke-screens and counter measures to protect the idenity and life of our members. Many of the aliases are comprised of 2 or even 3 members collaberating on tracks to see what they come up with. I see many other labels as the "control". While Beta Bodega mixes and matches, experimenting in the true sense of the word, until the final result though unexpected turns out satisfactory. Artists and names shift and swap without notice and the Coalition strecthes the world from Japan to Germany. And rather than Beta Bodega soley spreading a message of anger and disassociation, we consider all who support Beta Bodega one with the Coalition...
