MPE doesn=E2=80=99t use Poly AT. In fact, it disallows Poly AT on every = channel except the master. Strange. By the way, if you read through the Oberheim Xpander owner=E2=80=99s = manual as well as the MPE spec, you can set up an Xpander to act as an = MPE sound device. Same for the Matrix-12, if you=E2=80=99re willing to = ignore the keyboard. I=E2=80=99m not saying that vintage Oberheim gear = is cheap, but if you already own something that can be configured for = MPE, then it costs $0. The Sensel may be the cheapest device that is marketed with the MPE buzz = word, but that has nothing to do with capabilities. MPE was designed = with the goal of being maximally compatible with MIDI 1.0 capabilities.
