> I've got a Tama Techstar drum brain that I love, but a lot of the knobs have gotten brittle, broken, fallen off, etc. They're a D-shaft slide-on knob, but the top of the shaft is flush with the face of the unit. Does anyone have a source for recessed shaft knobs? I'd like to just replace all of them. Thanks in advance... > I've just been fiddling with a broken Behringer pedal and thought of this! It's a bass overdrive pedal with big and small knobs on it. The small ones fit the Tama pretty well. The big ones don't fit in the whole. The indicator line doesn't match up with the Tama markings though. https://imgur.com/a/MaX4s Thinking about it, the knob is pretty much just a tube that is flat at the top and has something in the other end to grip the D shaft (no sniggering please). It might not be that hard to make some knobs out of dowel or a hollow tube and some epoxy putty.
