Fellower IDM'ers, I was floored by the responses I got with my request for info on IDM stores online. Thanks so much for your help! I am moved to charity myself! I did the interview with Squarepusher a few days ago, using a few questions that were sent from this list. It's not transcribed yet (probably done in a few weeks) but there's a few interesting things that struck me. 1) He's planning a gamelan project with Autechre. He said no sequencers or programming either. Could be a put-on but he did seem to be serious about it. 2) Four favorites of his are Augustus Pablo "Original Rockers," Tackhead "Friendly As A Hand Grenade," Herbie Hancock "Headhunters," and 808 State "Newbuild." 3) He's looking forward to doing film soundtracks.
