Actually you don't have to know a damn thing in order to connect the
Doepfer Power supply up. There's no soldering at all. You simply push
the crimp connectors together from the main PS board to the buss board
and from the main PS to the on/off switch and cable connector part. Once
the PS and boards are snapoped together you take a simple three prong
computer type cable and hook and plug it in. That's it!

Here are the parts you'll need: (via US Enport's web page). These are
simple snap in setups and require no fancy grounding, wiring, or
whatever. Easiest PS to put togther I have ever found.

A-100NT12 Standard power supply +/-12V/.65A $79.00
A-100BUS Bus board (1 pcs) $45.00 (I have two of these because I have
more modules, each has 14 connectors)

My system and PS is connected to a birch wooden frame and have had no
problems ever. Just read the instructions on which colored cable goes
where (+, -, Grd) and you'll be in business in ten minutes.

An alternative would be to buy the newer mini power supply that just
takes a wall wart in. However , this only supplies less than 1/6 of the
regular PS and has limited coonectors. If you want a four unit stompbox
type system (A *very* coolo idea IMO) then this would be the way to go.
However if you want to do any expansion later it doesn't make much
sense to me especially considering the $80 price tag. for the price of
a buss board you'll get 650 mA instead of 100mA and 14 connectors as
opposed to 4.

Hope this helps some.
