INTERFERENCE is a series of live events hosted by The Wire and London Electronic Arts =46riday 30 October, 7:30, Union Chapel, London N1 ALCHEMY: THOMAS K=D6NER & JURGEN REBLE PLURAMON KAFFE MATTHEWS =46Ilm maker J=FCrgen Reble screens kaleidoscopic, abstract films, which are treated with chemicals whicle they are projected. As the film disintergrates on screen, the sounds of corrosion and projection are amplified and used as source material for the live soundtrack by processing wizard Thomas K=F6ner (Porter Ricks) Plus, the UK debut of Pluramon (aka Marcus Schmickler) from Cologne's thriving electronic music scene. Stockhausen collides with Krautrock in a hard disk: improvisation with treated guitar, drums and electronics. Meanwhile, London experimental musician Kaffe Matthews morphs the sound of the violin into strange, new shapes using LISA sound modelling software.
