MOTM all the way. The parts are sturdy, you get thick front plates and stuff bolted down so they're not going to bend or break or have some sort of physical failure. The electronics are solid too, super stable oscilators. Sounds great. There are a few different types of filters out and more on the way, so you can get a lot of different types of sound out of it. And customer support is friendly, helpful and responsive, since it's Paul S, the guy who builds them. You can get them kit or preassembled. the modules are a nice size, the knobs are big and easilly accessible, so it's easy to tweak them. It looks spiffy. Price is reasonable. I dig my MOTM. celeste (not on MOTM's payroll... ;) On Sat, 25 Mar 2000 xxxxxxxxx@xxx.xxx wrote: > In your opinion, which of the major modular synth companies (Doepfer, > Analogue Systems UK, Technosaurus, Wiard, MOTM) is the best in terms of > value, build quality, sound quality, and customer support?
