Review: (idm) electric company/lexaunculpt live in l.a. (fwd)

So I went to show tonite. Umm other than Lexaunculpt tearing my head off (once
again- this is getting painful) the only major thing to report is Brock's comments
b4 we all left.

Zimbo: "Wait, Brock you're leaving, you mean you're not staying for CAN?"
Brock: "Nope"
Zimbo: "Why?"
Brock: "They've got a drumset and guitars on stage! I don't see anything
'electronic' up there"

I laughed my ass off. Zimbo and I stayed for ONE tune of this band that included
some old fart CAN guys. The music was just a rock band jamming. I wasn't into it
much.

JAMES PLOTKIN didn't show, bummer and the other performers bored me sooo much I went
into the smokers lounge and I don't even smoke.

I spoke with Alex, after giving him the OBLIQ RECORDINGS Comp (a must buy IDM'ers!),
and I'm amazed at what the future holds for us. I don't know if I'm at liberty to
announce upcomming things, but Alex told me he got a call from German label dudes
who did a killer Bjork remix on some label called Skinny Mouse?<- that's a hint

The best part of the nite was going to some taco place (not fish tacos) with the
krew and chilling with some drunk boozer lady. We were all impressed on how
intelligent she seemed. Alex was giving her some advice on how to better her life
and so forth, but the bottle was too important too her. She started to tear when i
asked if I could take her paper bag away. Oh well we all have addictions. Mine is
Lexaunculpt. Stay away from Lexaunculpt tho' it could be risky to your health.
Certainly has fucked up my brain.......
