My Impression Of The Detroit Kraftwerk Show

I thought I'd give me impression of last nights Kraftwerk show....

In a nutshell - 100% BRILLIANT!!!!

The music was amazingly rich and clear....

The video/graphic footage that was displayed on the four screens
behind the members was just as cutting edge and enjoyable as
the music....

The theatre was literally packed full and the crowd LOVED every
minute of the concert -- even the ending after the curtains
closed and the speakers continued to repetitively blurt out the
vocoded phrase, "Muzik Non Stop" for about five minutes....

For the trainspotters, here's what I managed to identify on stage:

(1) No less than six MAQ 16/3 Doepfer Sequencers
(2) At least two Doepfer A-100 modular racks jammed full of patch
     cords.
(3) Ensoniq DP/4(+?)
(4) Quasimidi Rack
(5) original Microwave
(6) Studio Electronics MIDImoog
(7) Nord Lead Rack
(8) Kawai K-5000 Rack

Best overheard conversation (while I was queing in the RAIN):

"...I hope these guys are good -- I've NEVER heard of them before..."

I don't know about anyone else, but I was surely inspired to go home
and write some music....

Cheers,
