For $20K you could get three Synthi AKS and (with patience) a big big matrix 
to patch them together.
I'm not saying it would be better than a Buchla or a bunch of Serge panels 
or a wall full of Doepfer or dotcom ..... but it certainly would be a tasty 
system.
