Speaking of Terry Lee Brown, Jr.... I've heard a few tracks, and was
intrigued. If I dig Herbert, Ibbotson, Norken, etc., am I likely to be into
Brown Jr.?

Lately, it seems, I really just want to listen to house. At least for
spinning. I've put all my IDM and downtempo toward the back of the pile, &
I'm just pulling out house, tech-house (Morgain Geist, for instance) and
minimal techno (my usual favorites: Mike Ink in various guises, Thomas
Brinkmann, Plug Research's more floor-oriented side, etc.). Speaking of
minimal techno, the last Oz Artists LP on Thule really floats my boat.
Anyone who dug the Fishcake comp ought to pick it up.

And on the housey tip... picked up a promo Bjork 12" the other day with a
sticker for "The Mod Squad" on the cover (ick) -- it's a set of 6 remixes,
including a Beck mix which I assume was on the regular ONe Little Indian
issue -- but there's a French dub version (have no idea by whom) that's
absolutely delicious French house, with Bjork's vocals just barely bubbling
up from deep in the mix. Great stuff.
