PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!!!! SONY DAT machines are known to be glitchy. The main problem that comes up is that DAT masters recorded on a SONY playback fine on a SONY. But on many other industry standard DATs they have errors. I speak from experience... Also, with that many hours of use the possibility of errors will be much greater. If you do get it, clean those heads. James Bernard
