I bought one in about '95 and have been using it with a System 100M. I've never used any other MIDI -> CV converters so I don't have anything to compare it too. But I can say I've never found any reason to complain about the Frostwave. I've found it easy and intuitive to use, and it performs it's task without any problems. As I say, I can't compare it to anything else but I've certainly not found anything wrong with it.
