Just a cool info, a bit long if you dont care, but I think it could
be interesting.
I compiled the 50 best rated synth from the 'A-Z of Analogue Synthesisers'
Book by Peter Forrest (both part 1 and 2).
This 'best of' was made using all the synths which had a 'value point' given
by the author.
The 'value point' is based on a quantification matrix of various strategic
subject for an analogue synth :
* sound (0 to 10/10)
* keyboard (0 to 10/10)
* interface (0 to 10/10)
* controls (0 to 10/10)
* memories (0 to 10/10)
* ease of use (0 to 10/10)
* character (0 to 10/10)
* power for space ratio (0 to 10/10)
* maintenace (0 to 10/10)
* collectability (0 to 10/10)
for a total of 100 points max.
