Never heard of Psy Free, though it should be noted that Ash Ra Tempel was previously known as the Steeplechase Blues Band (then, as always, under Gottsching's leadership) and changed their name (and sound) when Klaus joined up. Hopefully everybody here is also aware that Schulze was famously previously in Tangerine Dream (on board for one stupendous freakout album, _Electronic Meditation_). A previous poster, in reference to a Gottsching/Schulze box might have been a bit confused (or is more on top of things than I am, which admittedly isn't that hard to accomplish). There have been numerous Schulze sets released (one a 20+ CD monster), as well as a Gottsching/Ash Ra Tempel 6 CD set, entitled _Private Tapes_. A distillation of the latter was released by Cleopatra as a 2CD, focusing on the later, analog synth stuff. Which, I will grant you is pretty smoove, but not quite up to the brain-bombing level of some of the earlier material that the original set displayed (35 minute jam w/original line up? _and it delivers_... nuff said). No Schulze/Gottsching box was ever released per se, though of course Klaus shows up in his usual role in the ART band material. -rob
