As expected...

"The Latest" from Chris Weston himself:

"
FLAILURE

yes. so, its like this. i spend / waste loads of time trying to fulfil my promise to everyone to sort the album out without the cash to actually do it. ive done pretty well bodging it so far, but its come to the point now where i have had to put notice on the room i was renting to record in. when i say 'waste' i mean i spend a lot of time trying to work with people over the internet and ive finally just had enough. due to misunderstandings, the amount of time it takes to bounce everything and explain what i want to someone who is not there in person is significant. so significant in fact that it has wasted literally weeks for stuff that could have been done in days if the person was here. there are also technical recording issues involved, hiring or finding studios to do it for nothing is quite hard n all and the equipment may not be to the standard i want.

i bravely soldiered on through this regardless, but this track im working on at the moment has been so difficult to realise in this manner, that ive had enough. given the high level of skill i have, which you will hear quite shortly, it seems utterly stupid to do it in this manner. ive come to the decision that i will give everyone who has invested in me this track in the next weeks or so and then go get a job and sue universal until such time as i have enough money to :

1) work and pay musicians that are local to me, failing that to be able to travel to them (ie morgan)

2) not work on headphones anymore ( i am getting ringing in my ears last few weeks, and they hurt from having them on for so long ) this means having a place i can make noise in at all times of the day and night, which means thousands of pounds to rent it out :/

it may be that a bunch of people want to hear the track and pay a tenner to do so and perhaps i will get enough to continue. to be honest i highly doubt it. i dont have the money or time to indulge in PR crap anymore, and im really not that interested either, i just want to make nice tunes and give something awesome to those that believed in me for this project. so. i will get back to it as soon as i can but after this, im fucked basically and am off to get a job and sue universal. sorry about the delays, but there will be some nice tunes coming at some point, keep me updated with your email address so i can send you anything i do. ill try and work on some of the more ambient tracks that dont require other people so much when i can in the meantime.

if anyone knows anyone with IT work, preferably linux sys admin or penetration testing shit ( need some more training ) lemme know and ill get on it. or mebbe you know a litigation / media solicitor who wants to work for nothing. lolly. actually i only need a few letters to them, they already admitted they are illegally selling my intellectual property, even after they admitted it in writing they carried on flogging it! please dont offer me any music work, im not interested in poisoning my beautiful and unique art with capitalism. heheh.

in other news, this track ive just made is fucking awesome man. ive convinced myself i am a very good producer :D maybe some rich film guy will buy the non-exclusive rights or summat. pfh, not too optimistic at the moment.

take care friends x"
