Lance is on the mark here (I like the Tejada nod you make)...but to be
sure this is a big step in a different direction for
Mandell...stylistically not like the recent Carpark and Pitchcadet
releases, so perhaps a cursory listen is in order before buying based on
what you may (not) have heard of Mandell in the past.  I say again his
jazz studies/music education manifest themselves in his ability to
maintain a consistent level of (melodic) excellence regardless of the
style.  Please don't read that as a suggestion that Mandell's music is
in any way jazzy or (ack) acid jazzy, just that he has studied music
(fact) and to my ears, it shows.  Quondam Current is another fine
release.

Was a bit overwhelmed by the sheer diversity of Clicks + Cuts the first
time through, so no comment, only big grins.
