A dab of fingernail polish will work wonders. It dries hard and thick enough to keep everything together nicely, and then when/if you need to remove the knob, it breaks away. Glue, on the other hand, might be more permanent; some glues will hold so tightly that you risk damaging the switch when you try to remove the knob. The one in the filter doesn’t seem damaged at all, just comes off too easily. Can it be superglued? Or is this harmful? The toggle switch cap is intact and functional but wobbles a lot, as though part of the switch which resides inside the cap has broken. Can I pack it out a bit, glue it and carry on? > > What’s your advice? > > Thanks, > > Rob Walker >
