I called them up asking if they had non Midi 5 Din cables, and they said no. I tried the Monster cable and it didn't work.. Do you think this would work? http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103840&cp=&pg=1&kw=din+cables&parentPage=search How can I find out if All 5 pins are connected? Scott ____________________________________ Radio Shack sells these. Look for DIN cables. I use them and they work fine. On Dec 15, 2005, at 1:56 PM, Scott Metzger wrote: Hello! I am trying to get my Doepfer MSY2 to work with a Roland Jupiter 8. Problem is, I can't find a Cable that will work for me. Dieter Doepfer said this: You need a cable with all five pins connected (at least pins #2 and #3 for your application). A standard MIDI cable will not work as Midi does not use the pins #1 and #3. But even some MIDI cables have all 5 pins connected (though pins #1 and #3 are not used for MIDI) and such a MIDI cable would work. I can't know if your cable has all 5 pins connected or only the pins required for Midi (i.e. pins #2, #4, #5). Anyone know where I can aquire a cable such as this? Th anks! Scott Metzger
