I called them up asking if they had non Midi 5 Din cables, and they said no.
I tried the Monster cable and it didn't work.. Do you think this would
work?

How can I find out if All 5 pins are connected?

Radio Shack sells these. Look for DIN cables.
I use them and they work fine.

You need a cable with all five pins connected (at least pins #2 and #3 for
your application). A standard MIDI cable will not work as Midi does not use
the pins #1 and #3. But even some MIDI cables have all 5 pins connected
(though pins #1 and #3 are not used for MIDI) and such a MIDI cable would
work. I can't know if your cable has all 5 pins connected or only the pins
required for Midi (i.e. pins #2, #4, #5).
Anyone know where I can aquire a cable such as this?
