(idm) Oil?

Sorry if I'm rehashing anything that's already been said, but I recently =
picked up the We Have Explosive single and the two remixes by Oil sort =
of stood out...I've never heard of Oil before, and can't find any info =
about them. What's up with these people? Who are they?=20
