For those that bid in the auction, I will privately post the SAME auction results to you *off the list* by tomorrow, though I promised for today. So after all is said and done, I guess the $250 Lego Feet either has made me the greedy heartless auctioneer and the buyer a loser type with no brain and no life. I must say, however, that after conducting many auctions over the course of at least 10 years, the collector will eventually pay what the collector wants to pay and the auctioneer will gladly accept payment. Somehow the SKAM001 thread seemed to vilify both the buyer and the seller. I am glad that the VVM crew has stepped to the plate with their thoughts on the ridiculousness of it all ( hey, Andy ! have a biscuit for me and say hi to the ranch, eh?) . Anyways, it's good that the small labels, such as VVM can explain the details of why it *isn't* always a simple process to reissue tracks just because the idm community wants them so badly. They, and SKAM and many independent labels, have *much* better things to do with their money. And by the way, the $250 bucks spent on Lego Feet will go to a round trip plane ticket to England where the seller will be recording an album. So hocking a 12" comes in handy from time to time. What anyone wants to do with their money is *seriously* their own deal. Cheers, peace and all those exit phrases. Peter PS: I have an RDJ 12" limited to *one* copy. Its a recording of ole' Rich *sleeping*. Amazing fidelity. I'm starting the bidding at $10,000.00 ******************************************************** xxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx, <also: xxxxx@xxxxxxxx.xxx> Peter Becker - Distribution Manager/ DJ Pool / Mail Order Demo Tape Filter Asphodel - PO Box 51, Chelsea Station, NY NY 10113 Ph: (212) 604-9362, FAX: (212)604-0783 http://www.asphodel.com NEW WEBSITE UP: NEW INFO, NEW SOUNDS!
