I just finished a page at my site that those of you into RealAudio might be interested in. Here's the URL: http://www.internetconnect.net/~kdkates/epf/realinks.html Basically, I already had a list of sites with electronic music in RealAudio format and I wanted to classify them to make a more user-friendly tool. So I separated the sites into 3 categories: "tracks", "dj mixes" and "concerts". Currently, I have around 80 links (some are listed in multiple categories) and I'm sure that number will continue to grow. Granted, RealAudio quality is majorly inferior to MP3, but in my view RealAudio provides a good way to preview music and listen to concerts/DJ mixes without the horrendous download times of Mpeg (i.e. RealAudio is definitely no substitute for the original and it never was intended to be). Anyway, I hope some of you can make use of this and feel free to let me know of any other good sites out there that I may have missed. _____________________________________________ E r i c F r a n s :: xxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx [cellular] http://www.internetconnect.net/~kdkates/epf [so-cal idm] http://www.internetconnect.net/~kdkates/epf/scidm [si-{cut}.db] http://www.internetconnect.net/~kdkates/epf/benford "If you ever discover that what you're seeing is a play within a play, just slow down, take a deep breath, and hold on for the ride of your life." -- Jack Handey on: v/a - Noise Reduction II [Alley Sweeper/Invisible]
