i bought the scribbler by shinjuku thief on a whim & it wasn't what i
was expecting.  lots of piano, pretty simple, underdeveloped and not
terribly interesting.  how are the other shinjuku albums different from
the scribbler...  interesting what you said about download's the eyes of
stanley pain as it's probably my favorite download release.
"glassblower" reminds me of some of the harser aphex material, but even
better imho.  a lot of interesting songs, and a few duds that stop it
from working as an entire album.  still quite good...  as for
muslimgauze, i've considered trying some of his stuff out but have been
scared away because i feel like it might be too "worldy" for my tastes.
any recommendations?  tanks.
