Yesterday I picked up 'In Glorious black and blue' by Ronnie and Clyde. I
was led to them by way of the Sons of Silence, who paired up with R&C on an
excellent, recent 12" whose name and label I can't recall...

The album sounds like a more accessible and faster version of the Sons of
Silence (which is a complement to the Sons), with fairly complicated breaks
and deep bouncy basslines. A few vocal samples, some tinkly piano, a
little tiny bit of guitar, a little bit of electro flavor, and a large
amount of echoey synth melodies. There's a smattering of DnB breaks on a
few tracks as well. Overall, it's a good album. I enjoy it muchly.
