Yes! I tried to remove the arms once. They=E2=80=99re not = user-replaceable unless you have a tack-welder or something equivalent. Having looked at many PANASONIC data sheets, it seems that every battery = is available with several variations of welded contacts (in addition to = the bare battery). If the model that Mouser carries doesn=E2=80=99t have = the right pin spacing, just look in the data sheet to find the one that = matches the Split-Eight, and then find some online retailer that carries = it. You could even go direct to Panasonic to find an approved reseller.
