Actually, it's from about 1979-81 I think.

A ROUGH outline of chronology of Roland ANALOG SYNTHS (no string machines,
organs, or pianos here). This is off the top of my head (so it's just aprox
and I'll forget something).
  SH-1000, (1973-1978).
  SH-2000, System-700, and System-100, (1976-9)
  SH-5 (1976-77)
  SH-3a, SH-7, (1977-79)
  SH-1 (1978-79)
  SH-09, SH-2, JP-4, Promars, System-100m (1979-81)
  Juno-6, Juno-60, Jupiter-8, SH-101, CM-800, CMU-810 (1981-83)
  JX-3P, Jupiter-6, (1983-85)
  Juno-106, MKS-80, MKS-30, HS-60 (1984-6)
  JX-8P, Juno1, Juno-2, MKS-50, MKS-7, HS-10, HS-80 (1985-86)
  JX-10, MKS-70, (1986)
Then the whole world changed in 1987 with the D-50 (I bought 3 of them,
still wish I had one of them).

Regards,
Mike.
