Suggestions for your own rack, grab one of ebay. I was selling schroff brand
racks a while ago for $80....much less then the over the top costs from
doepfer. I also found some double height racks for a group of us last year
for around $40
Even if you then bought the doepfer PS etc it will save you quite a few
bucks!

while on topic of Doepfers, im interest in few thing regarding racks/PSU..

does Doepfer (and AS for that matter) use Linear or switching power supplies
?

or what about Doepfer newest more affordable rack kits (#1 and #2), they got
a
wallwart goin into a little PCB and distro, is this equvalent to switched
PSU?

ive got a linear supply in my Blacet-to-be-system, like MOTM and others use
too.

my main concern with Doepfer is quality, are there any issues with crosstalk
or quality of rails n PSU?
i remember reading somehjting about it, but have none personal experience.,,
